The manufacture of pumps for conventional and nuclear power stations and heating plants is the core of production at SIGMA GROUP a.s.
As result of this focus on power stations, the research, development and production capacities of the entire SIGMA Group does focus on medium-heavy, heavy and one-off pumping sets suitable for this high technology industry.
One result of this close co-operation between the development and production workplaces is the wide range of powerful and highly efficient feeding, cooling, condensate and other pumps for use in practically all the operation circuits of power and heating stations.
The cutting-edge design, first class materials and perfect workmanship make SIGMA pumps unique high-tech products which work reliably even under the extreme conditions of high operational pressures and temperatures.
During the design and manufacture of pumps for the power industry particular emphasis is also given to optimize operational costs, decrease environmental impacts and to automate control and diagnostic features.
The success of SIGMA pumps in power plants is borne out by hundreds of installations in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Egypt, India, Turkey, China, Syria, Romania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Yugoslavia, Bulgaria, Russia, Ukraine, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Iran, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Hungary and Cuba.
All pumps for the power industry are tested in our test laboratory before delivery.
The pump range for the power industry includes:
- Feeding pumps with a large range of flow rates (Q) from 5 l/s to 950 l/s and a head (H) up to 4000 m serves to feed boilers for steam production. Feeding pumps in the CND, CNE, CHZ, CHN, KNE, CU, CT, KHS and KHX series make up key technological nodes of each power station
- Condensate pumps in horizontal or vertical arrangements with flow rates (Q) from 1.5 l/s to 430 l/s and heads (H) of up to 620 m are produced in the NQD, NTD, CHE, CJE, CJT, CU, CNB, CJAV, CJNV, CJMV, CJDV, CJTV series
- Cooling pumps covering a flow rate parameter (Q) of up to 18 000 l/s are represented by the QVD, KID, AQT, HVBW, BQOW, BQLV, BQAV, BQBV, BQDV, BQUW, BQTV, AQTV, AQCV, AQSV, CVEV and CVFV series
- Pumps for the pumping and delivery of raw water in the QVD, KID, CVN, CVE, CU, HVBW, BQOW, BQLV, BQAV, BQBV, BQDV, AQTV, CVEV and CVFV series
- Pumps for fire water in the QVD, KID, CVN, CVE and CU series
- Pumps for heat distribution systems in the NQD, NTD, QHT, NEA, CHE, CJT, CNB, CHO and CU series
- Pumps in the A-COAV series for turbine oil systems
