In the beginning of the February the company SIGMA Výzkumný a vývojový ústav, s.r.o. (SIGMA Institute for Research and Development, LLC) delivered the last one of three MČS 20-1500, which had been ordered by the Administration of the State Material Reserves of the Czech Republic for the purposes of liquidation of the consequences of natural disasters, particularly of big floods and fires. The stations are administered by fire brigades in the regions of Olomouc, Hradec Králové and Central Bohemian Region. The mobile pumping stations intended for draining big lagoons in flooded territories can be used in a stationary variant as well as in a variant on a floating pontoon, wherein the transformation from one variant to the other can be acomplished within few hours by a trained crew of the transport vehicle. The product is unique due to its ability of quick use, simple handling and high pumping power of 1500 l of drained water per second. During the years 2005 and 2006 there were 5 pieces of these stations delivered to the section of civil protection of the Ministry of Internal Matters of France. A curiosity is a successful use of two MČS in supplementary cooling of blocks of a French nuclear power station in Chinon.

SIGMA GROUP a.s. expedited special processing pumps of the series CUF intended for the environment with danger of explosion. The Russian customer uses the pumps for pumping the condensate having a temperature of 160 °C in the plant for processing the petroleum. The application is interested by using a double mechanic sealing with thermosiphon cooler for increasing safety of the pump in the explosive environment.
